This adds a new "Exclude Tags" button next to the existing Tags button, that allows hiding elements that have specific tags (the opposite behavior of the current inclusive tag filtering). Both filters also work together, with the exclusive filter being applied on top of the original inclusive filter.
This is useful, for example, with tags like "Planned" (indicating features/elements that will be implemented in the future), which you might want to hide to see the current architecture.
Regarding the bugfix in perspectives.jspf - Tags were initially not working in main, due to a regression: 6454ec4 removed the
clearPerspective(render)function thattags.jspf(and nowexclude-tags.jspf) relied on.
