Linuxforks technic mod (abbreviated to LFT here) is a fork of technic mod deployed specifically on the Linuxforks server. It was undertaken since, in the eyes of Linuxforks crowd, the development of mainstream technic is overly conservative and slow-paced. Meanwhile, Linuxforks technic is meant to be expanded regularly, in order to both improve the experiences of the player and better reflect the changes brought forth by the corresponding development of other mods.

Due to this, within a year the mods have diverged significantly, even though major changes are still being backported from upstream. This wiki is meant to present the differences between the mods.

Recipe system — for the system of recipes introduced in LFT.

Device hierarchy — for info on the "family tree" of electrical devices in LFT.

Non-electrical Devices — for a small family of devices that use alternative power sources.

Collection of power tools — for the assortment of tools that use electrical charge instead of breaking down.

Handheld tools — tools that have nothing to do with electricity.
