In mainstream technic, only recipes producing a single object are shown in the inventory. Those having several are hidden from the player's view. The recipes are denoted by names only.

If you are using the Unified Inventory mod, then LFT will introduce its recipes represented by custom icons. If the recipe has multiple outputs (that is, produces more than one type of object as a result of the same operation), the recipes are marked with a "plus" sign in the lower right corner , and only the first result in the list is shown.

Alloying — combining two objects into one using heat.

Compressing — changing the properties of the material by applying pressure.

Extracting — obtaining some useful chemical substances from the raw materials.

Industrial freezing — exposing the objects to extremely low temperatures.

Grinding — obtaining new materials by turning the source material into fine dust.

Heating — using electrical furnace to subject the material to high temperatures. It is introduced to allow "cooking" recipes exclusive to technic furnaces. Regular "cooking" recipes are still the primary recipe for any technic furnace, of course.

Separating — decomposing complex matter into different constituent materials using a rapidly rotating centrifuge.

Threshing — separating grain from straw and similar agricultural operations.
